He married for his second wife, Patience, widow of Robert Parker, and daughter of Elder Henry Cobb.
From Crocker's notes: Deacon William Crocker, born 1612, with his brother John came from Lyneham, County of Devon, England and settled first at Scituate, Mass. before 1636. In that year, he married Alice (no other name given) who was the mother of all of his children. (Did not become Deacon until later) Alice died soon after 1683, Deacon William married 2nd wife Patience (widow of Robert Pakker (sp??) and daughter of Elder Henry Cobb.) William died in 1692 at Barnstable, Mass. Another author states; "William Crocker was in Scituate, Mass. Dec. 25, 1636 where he joined Church." Tratition says that he came to Scituate (in) 1634, removed to Barnstable, Cape Cod, Mass. in 1639. |
