John and Susannah were said to have been admitted to the church at Plainfield Sep 1 1703 NOTE: Siblings: 5/9 NOTE: John Smith of Watertown and his wife bought land about 1709 from William Denison of Preston CT, which land was b ounded by lands of Samuel Prentice. In 1715 "John Smith of Stonington's cattle" are recorded - in 1718 he buys more land from Wm. Denison. NOTE: Susanna Chesley married a John Smith of NH - who was the eldest son of Joseph Smith - who was son of George Smith, 1st settler of Dover NH THIS IS THE WRONG JOHN SMITH ( maybe .. 11/91 - Archelaus clue ..
